Full Hypnobirthing & Antenatal Education

4 x 2hr private midwife-led sessions via Zoom. Over 20 antenatal topics for a thorough and in-depth antenatal education, plus everything you need to know about hypnobirthing. As well as the logic and background to hypnobirthing, you will learn the how to practice and use the well-known hypnobirthing techniques - relaxation audios, positive affirmations, breathing exercises and visualisations - to prepare yourself in the best way possible for this special life event.  Additional, in-depth, evidence-based antenatal education on a wide range of over 20 topics will prepare you for the rest of your pregnancy. You will be given the tools to devise your ideal birth preferences, and the ability to make informed decisions if needed. All courses include hypnobirthing MP3s and printed and digital course materials to refer back to.

As the course is private, it can be be tailored to your personal situation and circumstances.

Birth partners are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Session 1: 

Hypnobirthing - release anxiety and fear and feel calm and confident about childbirth (includes relaxation and affirmation MP3s)

  • The history of hypnobirthing

  • The logic behind hypnobirthing techniques

  • How the mind works

  • How other mammals give birth, and what we can learn from them

  • The nervous system and the hormones of labour and birth

  • What can get in the way and how to avoid it

  • How to practice the techniques antenatally

  • How to practice the techniques during labour and birth
